How do I add my first teammate?
Tap the "+" button on the main screen, enter your teammate's name and their home city. Team Zones will automatically find the correct timezone and place them on the globe.
Can I add teammates from any city in the world?
Yes! Team Zones supports thousands of cities worldwide. Just start typing the city name and we'll help you find the right location.
How many teammates can I add?
You can add unlimited teammates to your globe. The app is optimized to handle teams of any size, from small startups to large distributed organizations.
Using the 3D Globe
How do I interact with the globe?
Swipe to rotate the globe, pinch to zoom in and out, and tap on any teammate to see their current local time and details.
What do the day and night areas represent?
The globe shows real-time day and night zones based on the current time. This helps you instantly see if a teammate is likely awake or asleep.
Can I see different views of my team?
Yes! Switch between the 3D globe view and a list view to see all your teammates and their current times in different formats.
Apple Watch
How does Team Zones work on Apple Watch?
The Apple Watch app shows a simplified view of your team with their current local times. Tap any teammate to see more details or use the Digital Crown to scroll through your team.
Can I add teammates from my Apple Watch?
Team management is currently available on iPhone and iPad. Once you add teammates on your iOS devices, they automatically sync to your Apple Watch.
Does Team Zones have a watch complication?
Yes! Add the Team Zones complication to your watch face to quickly see your team's status without opening the app.
Sync & Data
Does my team data sync between devices?
Yes! Your team data automatically syncs between your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch using iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple ID on all devices.
Is my team data private?
Absolutely. Team Zones is privacy-first. Your team data is stored locally on your device and synced securely via iCloud. We never track, collect, or share your information.
Can I export my team data?
Yes, you can export your team list from the Settings screen. This is useful for backups or sharing with other team members.
Troubleshooting
The globe isn't rotating smoothly
Try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, restart your device. Make sure you have the latest version of Team Zones installed from the App Store.
My changes aren't syncing between devices
Check that iCloud is enabled for Team Zones in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud. Also ensure you're connected to the internet and signed in with the same Apple ID on all devices.
A city isn't showing up in search
Try entering the city name in different formats (e.g., "NYC" or "New York City"). If you still can't find it, contact support and we'll help add it to our database.
